Arches Consulting consists of its director/principal consultant, Tom Cosgrove.

While some people are put off by there just being me, in many ways this is actually a benefit. I will never pass your work to more junior staff to do; you have access to my full range of expertise (17 years in the computer industry); and I will never blame anyone else (in the unlikely event of anything going wrong).

It is true that if I get hit by a bus you could be without someone to support your systems. However, this happens even in much larger companies, who still have to rely on individuals. On large projects I work with other consultancy organisations, each of us with our own specialisations, but also able to cover for each other. And of course I keep solutions as simple as possible—which also aids me when I come back a year or more later.

And because I handle all aspects of the business myself, from sales and marketing to cashflow, bookkeeping and accounts, I have an excellent understanding of the whole business process.
